Indian-American actress Imanvi, who is set to make her Telugu film debut opposite Prabhas in the upcoming war drama ‘Fauji’, has broken her silence on rumors alleging her family’s connection to the Pakistani military. Dismissing the claims as completely false and malicious, Imanvi issued a strong public statement via her Instagram, clarifying her heritage and denouncing the spread of misinformation.

The controversy began circulating on social media shortly after Imanvi's casting in ‘Fauji’ was announced. Online trolls claimed that the actress had familial links to Pakistan’s military forces—claims that quickly gained traction on certain unverified platforms. In her statement, Imanvi categorically denied the allegations, calling them "fabricated lies" created to fuel hatred and misinformation.

She explained that she was born in Los Angeles to Indian parents and identifies as a proud Indian-American. Fluent in Hindi, Telugu, Gujarati, and English, Imanvi emphasized her deep cultural roots and connection to India. She added that her artistic journey began in the United States, where she gained recognition as a dancer and content creator before transitioning into acting.

Despite the rumors, Imanvi received support from her co-star Prabhas.
